Senior Account Excutive/ Director
As a Senior Account Executive / Director, you will drive sustainable business growth through new business acquisition and strategic account management. You will deliver tailored insurance solutions, build long-term client relationships, and ensure excellent retention through proactive engagement and market insight.
Working collaboratively with Broking Operations and internal teams, you will help deliver a seamless end-to-end client experience.
Key Responsibilities
Client Management
* Act as a trusted advisor, developing strong, consultative relationships.
* Understand clients’ risk profiles and deliver tailored solutions.
* Proactively identify value-add opportunities to drive retention.
New Business Development
* Generate and convert new business through networking, referrals, and market engagement.
* Build and manage a strong sales pipeline.
* Deliver persuasive presentations and meet growth targets.
Renewals & Compliance
* Lead renewal negotiations and secure competitive terms.
* Ensure full regulatory compliance (FCA / Consumer Duty).
* Maintain accurate and audit-ready records.
Collaboration & Market Engagement
* Mentor colleagues and support a high-performance culture.
* Build strong insurer and industry relationships.
* Stay informed on market and regulatory developments.
Candidate Profile
Essential
* Proven commercial insurance Account Executive experience.
* Strong track record in new business development.
* Knowledge of insurance markets and underwriting.
* Experience managing and growing client portfolios.
* Understanding of FCA requirements.
* CII / ACII qualified (or working towards).
Desirable
* Experience with Acturis or similar systems.
