Your new role
You will join a well-established construction business as part of the divisional finance team, where your focus will be on overheads rather than project accounting. Working closely with Heads of Department, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, taking ownership of overhead analysis, cost control, and variance reporting to support informed decision-making.
In this role, you will support the month-end process through the preparation of accruals, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations, while also contributing to the production of management accounts, audit requirements, and cash reporting. Alongside this, you will gain exposure to broader finance responsibilities, including supporting high-level CVR reporting, managing payables and sales ledger activities, and handling intercompany transactions. You will also have the opportunity to drive improvements in systems and processes within a fast-paced, contract-driven environment.
What you'll need to succeed
