Townships 2 Primary Care Network (PCN) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Salaried GP to join our diverse and supportive team. This role is ideal for GPs who have been qualified for less than two years, offering a structured environment to develop clinical skills, gain experience across different practice settings, and work alongside an established multidisciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
* A qualified GP with less than two years since CCT
* Someone proactive, compassionate, and committed to high standards of patient care
* A team player eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a supportive PCN environment
* Good understanding and experience of chronic disease management, and primary prevention and screening services.
* Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and are responsible for ensuring that all your mandatory training is in date.
* Awareness of and compliance with all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g. prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety.
* Commitment to life‑long learning and audit to ensure evidence‑based best practice.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in a confidential manner.
About us
Townships 2PCN Ltd is based in Sheffield and comprises of five practices with a list sizeof 36,000 patients. We employ Clinical Pharmacists, Technicians, Care Coordinator, GP, Occupational therapist, Social Prescribers, Paramedic and have a Physio service and run our own OOH service.
Job responsibilities
* 30‑hour working week across four PCN member practices
* Mix of face‑to‑face, telephone, and online consultations
* Involvement in practice and PCN‑wide clinical activity

Qualifications
* 1. Do you possess a Medical Degree (MBBS, MBChB) or equivalent recognised by the GMC?
* 2. GMC Registration
* Do you have full GMC registration?
* Are you included on the GP Register?
* 3. Licence to Practise
* Do you hold a current Licence to Practise with the GMC?
* 4. CCT / Equivalent
* Do you possess a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) in General Practice
* OR
* CEGPR (Certificate of Eligibility for GP Registration)
* OR
* EU GP qualifications recognised by the GMC?
* 5. GMC Specialist Registration (GP Register)
* Are you currently on the GMC GP Register?
* 6. Performer List
* Are you included on the NHS England Medical Performers List?
* 7. Medical Defence Membership
* Do you have medical indemnity with an approved provider?
