A well-established firm of chartered accountants and tax advisors based in Central London are seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager to join their dynamic team. Key Responsibilities: Manage and oversee the preparation and submission of corporate tax returns for a diverse client base. Provide proactive tax planning and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation. Assist in the development and implementation of tax-efficient strategies tailored to clients' specific circumstances. Liaise with HM Revenue & Customs on behalf of clients, handling inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with audit and accounts teams to ensure seamless service delivery and identify tax planning opportunities. Keep abreast of changes in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to clients and colleagues. Support senior management in business development activities, including attending client meetings and contributing to proposals. Mentor and supervise junior team members, fostering their professional development. Qualifications and Experience: ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent. Demonstrable experience in corporate tax compliance and advisory within a professional services firm. Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships. Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office applications.
