HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Drivers Curtainside & Flatbed Work Wakefield Location: Wakefield (Trailer Site)Pay Rates:Class 1: £16.50 per hourClass 2: £15.50 per hourOvertime: Paid at time and a half after 10 hours workedStart Time: 06:00Shifts: Monday to Friday | Flexible Day ShiftsWork Type: Curtainside & Flatbed DeliveriesOngoing Work AvailableAbout the Role: Recruit A Driver are currently recruiting Class 1 and Class 2 Drivers for ongoing work on a long-standing Chep pallets contract based out of Wakefield.This role involves deliveries using curtainside and flatbed trailers, operating from an unmanned trailer site. Drivers will be delivering Chep pallets to various sites across the region with clear delivery instructions provided.This is straightforward, ongoing work with automatic vehicles and flexible shift patterns available.Duties Include: Delivering Chep pallets across the regionWorking with curtainside and flatbed trailersSecuring loads using ratchets and strapsCompleting deliveries safely and efficientlyUsing a smartphone app for delivery information and tachograph downloadsCompleting daily vehicle checks and paperworkRequirements: Valid Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (Category C) LicenceValid CPC and Digital Tachograph CardConfident securing loads using ratchets and strapsOwn smartphone required for delivery app useGood understanding of driver hours and WTD regulationsNew passes considered (subject to approval)Why Join Recruit A Driver?
