About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Long Lartin, a category A Prison located in Littleton.
HMP Long Lartin is a male prison serving life sentences with a capacity for 690 inmates.
The Health in Justice team at Practice Plus Group makes a real difference across over 53 prisons, young offenders and immigration removal centres. Hours
Shift patterns will be a mixture of days (9 hour shifts) and weekends on a rota basis – 37.5 hours per week. Part time hours also considered.
Salary
This position is full time. You’ll receive an annual salary between £29,264 and £33,510 per annum, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
* Provide outstanding quality based patient‑centric care to our patients, seeking out, listening to and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them. Focus on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard.
* Deliver non‑judgemental care within the scope of professional standards, involving anything from the timely administration of medicines through to analysing cost‑effective prescribing as defined through our unique Health in Justice medicines policy.

Qualifications
* NVQ Level 3, or above, BTEC or equivalent
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD)
* Relevant post‑qualification pharmacy experience
* General GCSE education or equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Training available
