Independent prescribing and ADOS training are required or a willingness to work towards them.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with families, clinicians and partners in complex neurodevelopmental and diagnostic assessments, including ADOS.
* Support and develop staff, drive service improvement, and contribute to governance, audit and quality initiatives.
* Lead the skill‑mix Neuro‑developmental model across Cambridgeshire, ensuring up‑to‑date development of nursing/allied‑health activities including independent prescribing and advanced nursing skills.
* Lead training and development needs of the team to enable enhanced advanced nursing/allied‑health practice.
* Manage the operational day‑to‑day and resource needs of the nursing/allied‑health team and provide effective leadership and clinical direction to administrators to support operational delivery.
* Serve as an expert clinician and role model, supporting delivery of an evidence‑based commissioned service within a multidisciplinary team managing children attending the Community Paediatric Service.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional.
* Educated to Master’s level or with equivalent experience.
* Senior experience in community paediatrics or neurodevelopmental services.
* Independent prescribing and ADOS training required or willingness to work towards them.
