Job Title: Graduate Buyer
Overall, Purpose:
The Iceland Buying Graduate scheme will put you at the heart of the Iceland Foods business. You will be responsible for developing and delivering commercial plans across a two-year period in our Frozen, Grocery and Chilled departments.
With guidance from Senior Buyers, you will be given commercial responsibility where you can make a real impact to the range and proposition which we offer to our customers.
You will work closely with suppliers, and other internal departments to ensure that we deliver a high-quality product range to our customers.
This programme will deliver a hands-on experience to the successful candidate, giving you all the skills you need and kickstart your Retail Buying career.
Key Responsibilities
1. Drive profitable sales growth
2. You will be responsible for a multimillion-pound category within the Iceland business, under guidance from a Senior Buyer. You will improve commercial performance through supplier negotiations, forecasting and delivery within the Iceland Buying framework for Iceland, Food Warehouse and Iceland.co.uk.
3. You will have full P&L responsibility throughout the programme and the opportunity to make a real difference!
