Salary and Working Hours
£24,960 – £26,227 per annum (pro rata for part time), 20 hours per week Monday to Thursday (part time, flexible working).

Main duties of the job
All outpatient pharmacies across Amersham, Stoke Mandeville and High Wycombe are run by Buckinghamshire Health Projects Ltd (BHPL). Pharmacy@Bucks provides dispensing services from outpatient prescriptions issued by BHT, advice to BHT staff and visitors, and may provide OTC medicines in the near future. We support candidates with in‑house training including labelling, dispensing, ordering medication and use of our medicine management system.
The post holder will work cross sites to provide holiday and sickness cover within our outpatient pharmacies in Stoke Mandeville, High Wycombe and Amersham Hospital.
Responsibilities
* Dispense outpatient prescriptions in a hospital setting.
* Label and batch medicines, and order medication.
* Provide pharmacy advice to BHT staff and visitors.
* Support the medicine management system and maintain stock records.
* Collaborate with pharmacy team to ensure safe and efficient service.
Qualifications
* GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English, Science and Maths.
* NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or GPhC accredited equivalent course (desired).
Experience
* Experience in stock management.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills with colleagues and customers.
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
* Computer literate, including ordering, receiving, booking stock, invoicing.
* Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Special circumstances
* Willingness to travel to other pharmacy sites (Amersham, High Wycombe) and venues for training.
* Availability for 1:6 back‑up weekend rota.
