About the Role
Working as part of our dedicated HIA service, you will help deliver Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs) across the Furness area. Your work will directly support older, disabled, and vulnerable residents to live safely, independently, and comfortably at home.
In this role, you will:
* Provide technical advice and support to residents wishing to repair, adapt, or improve their homes
* Deliver a high‑quality service from initial referral through to completion of works, including home assessments
* Prepare costings, schedules of work, and working drawings
* Work closely with Occupational Therapists, Contractors, Technicians, and other professionals
* Ensure compliance with Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and Building Regulations
* Monitor the performance of Technicians, Contractors, and Handypersons, resolving issues in a timely manner
* Build strong relationships with Housing Associations, Landlords, Contractors, and wider partners
* Support the ongoing development and growth of the Home Improvement Agency
* Keep up to date with legislation, policy changes, industry developments, pricing structures, and specification systems
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference. You will be joining a flexible, supportive, and responsive Housing Team where we work collectively to deliver the best outcomes for our residents.

* Confident working in multi‑agency environments
* Familiar with Disabled Facilities Grants (desirable but not essential)
