Job Description The busy ibis Styles Birmingham NEC and Airport is on the hunt for an F&B Guest Service Manager to look after our guests and lead and support the F&B team on shift. Working full-time, 40 hours a week, you'll be a visible presence in the lounge; serving and welcoming guests, taking orders, supporting the team and looking for opportunities to drive revenue. The ideal candidate will have at least two years' experience working in front-of-house Food & Beverage operations in a hotel or high-street restaurant in a supervisory role. You'll have a friendly demeanour, be efficient and reliable and know how to inspire your colleagues by setting a great example. In addition to directing and managing the F&B team, you'll do Duty Management, stock ordering, payroll budgeting and rota planning. We're a multiskilled team so you'll also support the Reception team and other Operational areas. Our hotel is about to start a major renovation which will transform the property, including the F&B operation so this is a genuinely exciting time to join. Our hotel has over 160 bedrooms and welcomes international guests, business travellers, families, conference delegates and people heading off on holiday so it can be a bustling and vibrant hotel. As Guest Service Manager, you'll be key to ensuring that they enjoy a great dining experience during their visit and will want to come back again soon! As you'll be serving alcohol, we do require applicants to be 18 years of age or older. The hotel has onsite parking and is very well served by public transport, with Birmingham International train station just a few minutes walk away.
