We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join our dynamic Norfolk Streetlighting team in Norfolk, working from our Brooke Depot (NR151HJ). This role will be carried out onsite.
This position offers a competitive salary. In this role, you'll support the team by managing resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in growing the street lighting business in Norfolk and surrounding areas by identifying opportunities with existing and new clients, delivering quality and efficiency.
What You’ll Do
* Develop a pipeline of opportunities in street lighting and related work by working with our Business Development Manager and clients.
* Support the Commercial Manager/Bid Manager in pricing new opportunities and bids.
* Assist the Principal Contract Manager in improving contract performance through better solutions, planning, and equipment.
* Lead the delivery of schemes/projects to meet programme and budget.
* Ensure minimal disruption during construction using suitable solutions.
* Manage supervisory resources effectively.
* Maintain procedures to ensure programme delivery.
* Coordinate with other delivery managers regarding supervision and resources.
* Focus on ‘right first time’ and ‘no delays’ principles.
* Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Review design and contractual options during the design phase.
* Oversee measurement and valuation of work.
* Evaluate project outcomes and provide feedback.
* Comply with health and safety legislation.
* Support other street lighting contracts as needed.
