The Role
As an ECT specialising in Business, you will contribute to the teaching of Business Studies at KS4 and potentially KS5. You will help students understand core concepts such as marketing, operations, finance, human resources, and entrepreneurship.
Your responsibilities include:
Delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned Business lessons
Supporting students with exam preparation and coursework
Using real-world business case studies to deepen learning
Contributing to departmental planning and assessment design
Supporting Business enrichment activities such as enterprise clubs, competitions, or talks
Using assessment data to guide teaching and identify next steps
Participating fully in ECT mentoring, CPD, and whole-school training
