Class 2 HIAB Driver in Borehamwood
Newstaff Driving Recruitment Agency is recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver on behalf of our client based in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.

Job Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely operate a Class 2 vehicle with a HIAB crane, adhering to all relevant road safety regulations.
* Load and unload materials using the HIAB crane, ensuring secure and safe transportation of goods.
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any issues promptly.
* Plan delivery routes efficiently, considering traffic conditions and delivery schedules.
* Provide excellent customer service by maintaining professionalism when interacting with clients and colleagues.
* Complete delivery paperwork accurately and on time, including proof of delivery and relevant documentation.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations.
* Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for efficient loading and unloading.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Valid Class 2 driving license with current CPC and HIAB certification.
* Proven experience as a HIAB Driver Class 2 with a clean driving record.
* Strong understanding of road safety regulations and transportation laws.
* Excellent spatial awareness and manoeuvring skills, especially when operating the HIAB crane.
* Ability to handle goods with care to prevent damage during transportation.
* Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
* Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks.
* Flexibility in working hours, including occasional overtime.
