We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Scunthorpe. This temporary position is set to start at the end of January and will initially run until Easter. Day-to-day of the role:
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons to students across KS3 and KS4.
* Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote student achievement.
* Implement and adapt curriculum materials to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the teaching practice and share resources.
* Participate in school meetings and events, and contribute to the school's ethos and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
* Proven ability to teach science subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Strong understanding of the current curriculum and educational practices.
* Effective classroom management skills and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and work collaboratively with colleagues.
