Job Title: Slovakian-Speaking Supply Teaching Assistant

Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)

We are seeking a dedicated Slovakian-speaking Supply Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bradford. This temporary supply position will allow you to make a meaningful difference by supporting Slovak-speaking students in overcoming language barriers and helping them succeed in their learning.
As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for providing essential support to Slovak-speaking students, assisting them in both individual and group settings. You will help them integrate into the classroom, improve their academic skills, and create an inclusive, supportive environment where every student feels valued.
* Language Support: Provide tailored support to Slovak-speaking students to help them understand lesson content, instructions, and tasks. ️
* Academic Support: Assist students in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects, both in one-to-one and small group settings. ️
* Classroom Engagement: Encourage Slovak-speaking students to participate actively in lessons and foster a sense of inclusion. ️️
* Collaborate with Teachers: Work alongside class teachers to develop and implement strategies to support language development and academic progress.
* Parental Engagement: Bridge the gap between the school and Slovak-speaking families, ensuring parents are informed about their child's progress.
* Cultural Awareness: Foster an environment where students from diverse backgrounds feel supported and understood.
* Emotional and Social Support: Help students build emotional resilience and confidence, creating a safe space for them to thrive.
* Fluency in Slovak: You must be fluent in both written and spoken Slovak to effectively communicate with students and their families.
* Experience in Education: Previous experience in an educational setting is preferred, but we are open to candidates with a passion for supporting students' learning and development.
* Commitment to Student Success: A genuine desire to support children in overcoming language barriers and helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.
