Job Title: Trainee Buyer (Progression to Quantity Surveyor)
Location: Letchworth
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday to Friday – office-based, with one college day per week if applicable)

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Trainee Buyer to join our team at our Letchworth office. This is a unique opportunity for someone at the start of their career who is eager to learn and develop within the construction industry.
In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in procurement, supplier management, and project support, while working towards professional qualifications. After two years in Buying, you will have a clear progression pathway into our Quantity Surveying department with structured training and support provided.
Key Responsibilities

Place and manage orders for construction materials.

Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and resolve queries.

Provide administrative and procurement support to colleagues across live projects.

Maintain accurate records of orders and supplier communications.

Develop an understanding of procurement processes, project requirements, and cost management.
