* Under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, take responsibility for the physical and emotional wellbeing and social needs of residents.
* Assist residents with personal care activities, including washing, personal hygiene, dressing and meals.
* Deliver care that preserves residents’ dignity and individuality, supporting participation in general activities within the care home.
* Support residents with limited mobility, help them learn to use aids, provide emotional support, and care for those at the end of life with the resident’s wellbeing in mind.
* Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility: recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training, and report concerns or escalate as needed.
