We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join our growing team as a Soft-Fix Gas Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Achieving a first-time soft fix, when possible, over the phone.
2. Accurately recording the results of the soft-fix.
3. Minimising costs by ordering parts for first-time fix.
4. Maintaining customer satisfaction.
5. Scrutinizing incoming work for possible soft fixes that could be carried out.
6. Providing tablet support and training to field engineers.
7. Providing technical support and training for office staff.
8. Reporting on final figures at month-end for soft-fix jobs.
9. Carrying out soft-fix training and introduction to heating systems and components for office staff.
10. Carrying out basic training for field engineers (job stock and tablet usage).
11. Ensuring safety of other employees and residents is prioritized.
12. Proactively seeking to improve customer service and processes.
Working Hours & Schedule: This role involves flexible shift work across five days per week, including weekends, based on your availability, with a fair and balanced rotation. Shift times: 10am-6pm.
Requirements:
* Valid ACS & other relevant gas qualifications.
* Experience within social housing.
* Extensive experience working in the field within domestic gas.
* Experience delivering high levels of customer service.
* The ability to work with a diverse customer base.
* Availability to work 2 weekends per month (or equivalent with time off in lieu).
