Role Overview
In this role, you will manage a caseload of clients across prison and probation settings to support their rehabilitation. The key focus is resettlement and securing employment, which includes helping clients develop skills, secure accommodation, and gain necessary support. You will provide 1:1 support and guidance, setting goals and milestones to aid their progress.
Location
You will be based at HMPSwaleside (3 – 4 days a week) and Sittingbourne Probation Trust.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with individuals within the criminal justice system, either in a prison or custodial setting.
* Alternatively, experience supporting vulnerable clients in areas such as mental health, substance abuse, or homelessness.
* Criminology graduates with relevant volunteer experience are encouraged to apply, such as working with clients facing similar challenges.

Ideal Candidates
You might have previously worked as a prison officer, probation officer, resettlement worker, supported housing officer, drug and alcohol worker, careers advisor, employment advisor, or hostel worker. Alternatively, you might be a criminology graduate seeking your first career step and have relevant voluntary or paid experience.
