About the Role:
Student & Library Services provide a modern, comprehensive service in support of teaching, learning and research, blending library services with flexible, innovative approaches to student support.
To further our support for student success and retention, we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated professional to join our Student Advice team in Cambridge.
The Student Advice service focuses on delivering expert knowledge, support and advice to students and staff with a focus on our Academic Regulations. Were looking for an empathetic and skilled communicator who can absorb complex information and then advise students in a clear and sympathetic manner. Youll liaise with other University teams to deliver excellent student support, including colleagues in our Faculties and across Student and Library Services.
Educated to degree level, you will have excellent interpersonal skills having worked previously in an advice setting. Youll also have experience of working with information management systems and the ability to plan and progress work activities.
This role directly contributes to the Universitys goals to enhance student retention, achievement, and employability by ensuring that students receive high-quality support and accurate advice when they need it.
