A start-uppany in a specialist Tech sector, based in the Salisbury area, offers remote working (with some face-to-face required) to a switched-on and enthusiastic Operationalernancepliance and Admin specialist.
Your new role
As this is a start-uppany, the hours required are likely to vary and to grow over the initial operating period. (Anything from 10 to25 hours a month)
1. You will provide proactive oversight of operationalpliance and administrative processes for thepany.
2. Your role will help ensure thepany remains well-organised, on top of its legal and financial obligations, and investor-ready from an early stage.
3. It is a low-hours, high-trust role ideal for someonefortable working independently and flexibly.
4. You will maintain the digital filing systems (Sharepoint / Google Drive) for legal, financial, partner, and operational documents.
5. You will be on top of the official filings such aspanies House submissions, VAT returns, ERS filings, and insurance renewals, and coordinate with the relevant stakeholders within the business to ensure submissions are made in a timely manner.
6. You will help document internal policies and procedures and maintain records of software subscriptions and tools.
7. You could also be involved in runningpliance projects such as BCorp accreditation.
8. You will liaise internally to maintain a log of quarterly tech/security reviews.
9. You will also provide operational support around contracts and partner onboarding.
What you'll need to succeed
10. You will need to have a strong background in both Administration andernance/pliance and be someone who embraces technology and has an AI-first approach to working.
11. You will have a general understanding of themercial operations of a small business.
12. You will require excellentmunication and top-notch organisational skills!
13. You will ideally have worked in a smallerpany or start-up organisation, be used to turning your hand to any duties as required and be passionate about technology and the market thepany operates in.
What you'll get in return
14. This is a very part-time role (with potential to grow) with a very flexible working arrangement – ie hours can be worked as required.
15. You will be working primarily remotely, but must have the ability to meet face-to-face at short notice in the Salisbury area or another agreed location, when required.
16. Hourly pay will vary according to the individual's previous experience, ranging from approx £20ph to £25ph (including holiday pay.)
