We are seeking an experienced and confident High Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support students aged 11–16 within a specialist secondary education setting. This is a full-time role with an immediate start, working 8.30am to 3.30pm, Monday to Friday.
You will be working in an exceptional specialist provision set in a calm, rural environment that supports both learning and wellbeing. The school is recognised for:

Students present with a range of Special Educational Needs, including: Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Communication and sensory processing difficulties and Associated behavioural and learning needs
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and support small group learning and targeted interventions
* Assist with lesson delivery and classroom management
* Support students’ emotional regulation and behaviour strategies
* Work closely with teachers, therapists and pastoral staff
Requirements
* Minimum 6 months childcare experience, particularly supporting children with SEN needs
* Experience within specialist or secondary SEN settings is highly desirable
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the rural location of the school

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
