Job Description
If you have previous retail experience, you'll already have many of the skills needed to make an excellent Care Assistant for Be Caring. Patience, empathy, and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively are all essential qualities for this role.
As a Care Assistant working within Norris Green, you will:
* Provide personal care that protects people's dignity.

Induction Training
As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, you will be provided with comprehensive induction training on:
* Be Caring values, going Above & Beyond to meet personal outcomes.
* Dignity and respect, safeguarding, and equality and diversity.
* Confidentiality and professional boundaries.
* Fluids and nutrition and safe administration of medication.
* Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sores (React to Red).
* Infection prevention and control, health and safety.
* Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health, and capacity.
Do you have experience working in retail as a shop assistant? Then you already have many of the skills needed to become an excellent Care Assistant. We are looking for people with Be Caring values to join our team. For this role, you do not need prior care experience; we recognize you will have many transferable skills from previous roles, such as retail. We will provide you with the necessary training to excel as a Care Assistant.

Pay and Hours
* Shift pay rather than pay per call, meaning you are paid from the start to the end of your shift.
* Pay: £12.82 per hour (drivers).
* Mileage: 45p per mile for drivers.
* Full-time hours available.
* Bonus schemes: up to £300 for new starters, £300 for Refer a Friend, £300 annual bonus, and a £25 birthday gift voucher.
* Working hours will be aligned to our shift patterns, including early starts, late evenings, and weekends:
* Morning & Lunch shifts: 7am - 2pm.
* Evening shifts: 4pm - 10pm.
Your working pattern will be agreed upon, with a 2-week rota including:
* Alternate full weekends, or every Saturday or Sunday.
* Evenings as agreed within your working hours.
