As our business grows, we are looking for talented Electrical Project Manager to join our dedicated team.
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee and manage the successful execution of M&E engineering projects from inception through completion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage contractors, and be the main point of contact for clients to ensure project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Coordination:
* Lead the planning and design phases of M&E projects, ensuring proper timelines, budget, and scope.
* Develop detailed project schedules, assign tasks, and track progress to ensure deadlines are met.
* Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment required for M&E installations.
* Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
* Manage and lead a team of engineers, technicians, and contractors, fostering a collaborative environment.
* Provide guidance, training, and support to project team members.
* Conduct regular meetings to track project progress, resolve issues, and provide updates to stakeholders.
Budget & Cost Management:
* Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
* Monitor expenses and track financial performance to identify any potential cost overruns.
* Review and approve invoices, change orders, and project-related expenditures.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
* Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are understood and met.
* Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and manage relationships.
* Prepare and deliver progress reports to senior management and clients.
Risk & Quality Management:
* Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
* Ensure high-quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
* Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety and compliance with electrical codes.
Documentation & Reporting:
* Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
* Prepare and submit project reports, highlighting key milestones, issues, and resolutions.
Requirements:
·Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (preferred).
·Experience managing Electrical projects, with a strong track record of successful project completions.
·Experience in installation Solar PV
·In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, designs, and codes.
·Understanding of project management software (e.g. MS Projects).
·Strong understanding of budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting.
·Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
·Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
·Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
