Our friendly and proactive team operates in a relaxed yet professional environment, where collaboration and growth are encouraged. We're currently looking to welcome an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team on either a full-time (37.5 hours/week) or part-time basis.

Key Responsibilities:
* Processing invoices, daily transactions, and expenses
* Managing Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Reconciliations
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Handling CIS payments and submitting monthly returns
* Liaising with clients and offering ongoing business support
* Supporting the Accounts and Payroll team as required
What We're Looking For:
To be successful in this role, you should be confident managing a diverse caseload of clients, able to work independently, and capable of delivering accurate bookkeeping services. You'll need strong experience in VAT and payroll processing, and be proficient with Xero and related accounting software.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* 2–3 years' bookkeeping experience (preferably within an accountancy practice)
* Proficiency with Xero and Dext (or equivalent receipt processing software)
* Strong understanding of VAT and Payroll
* Experience with the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) is desirable
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Qualifications
* Minimum of Level 2 AAT or equivalent to include QBE.
