Main duties of the job
In this role, you will support the delivery of education and training across the pharmacy team, including trainee pharmacists, technicians, undergraduates, and post-registrants. You will foster a positive learning environment through mentoring, coaching, and supporting professional development. The role includes a clinical component, allowing ongoing contribution to patient-facing services and medicines optimisation. Responsibilities also include training sessions, supervision, one-to-one support, and involvement in quality improvement and research initiatives. You will participate in weekend and bank holiday rotas to support service resilience and work closely with senior colleagues to meet site-level training needs, strengthening the department's capacity for high-quality care.

Essential Qualifications & Knowledge
* Masters Degree in pharmacy (MPharm)
* Post Graduate MSc/Diploma in Clinical Pharmacy or equivalent
* Member of the GPhC
* Commitment to CPD
Desirable
* Leadership/Management further learning (qualification, course certificate)
Aptitude and abilities
* Good communicator, motivated, team player, organized, confident, calm
* Sensitive handling of patient information, able to cope with emotional demands
* Concentrated under pressure, able to handle interruptions
* Leadership, negotiation, assertiveness, tactfulness, persuasive communication skills
Experience
* Experience as a clinical pharmacist in a specialist area
