TWC provides working capital solutions to clients and non‑clients across all segments of the UK market. The TWC product suite includes Trade Finance & Receivables Finance products provided by a specialist team across the UK.
What you will be doing
* Manage a portfolio of Large Corporate Receivables Finance (RF) customers with facility limits in excess of £15m, delivering Invoice Discounting, Asset‑Based Lending, Selective Receivables Financing, Selective Debtor Finance and bespoke products.
* Develop and oversee all aspects of RF product and service delivery, including electronic interfaces such as Ledgermaster and Barclays Ledgershare.
* Lead portfolio risk control, income generation, and customer servicing to maximize returns while minimizing loss of business to competitors and bad debts.
* Influence the quality and consistency of the operational service provided by Operations to customers, ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
Essential Skills
* Proven experience within invoice financing and asset‑based lending, including legal documentation and transaction underwriting.
* Strong background in credit risk and decision‑making, navigating complexity to deliver innovative solutions.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.
* Track record of owning and delivering impactful projects in a regulatory environment.
Desirable Skills
* Lending and corporate banking background.
* Evidence of successfully delivering regulatory‑environment projects.
Purpose of the role
Establish and nurture profitable partnerships with corporate and SME clients through the Sales Finance Working Capital solution, aligning the bank’s offerings with client needs for long‑term mutual benefit and success.
Accountabilities
* Manage client relationships, identifying financial goals, challenges, and risk tolerance to support growth.
* Research industry trends and regulatory landscapes to inform strategic recommendations.
* Manage client Sales Finance facilities and servicing, balancing credit risk and returns.
* Communicate value proposition, justify recommendations, and negotiate terms beneficial to both client and bank.
* Provide guidance to clients, offering expert product advice for sustained positive relationships.
* Assess and mitigate financial, legal, credit, and operational risks within client relationships.
* Document all client interactions, transactions, and agreements for transparency and auditability.
* Monitor client satisfaction and revenue metrics to evaluate relationship effectiveness.
