Job Description

As Category Manager you will:

3. As a procurement professional you will manage end to end procurement focusing on supplier management / contract management.
4. Manage a defined book of work across the full third‑party lifecycle: sourcing, commercial negotiation, contracting and ongoing supplier monitoring.
5. Ensure full compliance with Third‑Party Management policies, controls and regulatory expectations.
6. Partner with stakeholders across the business to understand requirements and shape sourcing strategies that deliver value.
7. Lead contract reviews, interrogate terms and negotiate commercially and legally robust outcomes.
8. Support the wider Procurement transformation agenda, contributing to process improvements and best‑practice adoption.
9. Maintain accurate reporting via dashboards, trackers and category plans.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Category Manager - Corporate Services- Professional Services should have:

10. Strong background in Professional Services procurement and MUST be within a regulated or corporate financial services type of environment.
11. Expert contract reviewer - able to interpret, challenge and negotiate terms quickly and confidently.
12. Proven ability to manage a high‑volume workload and prioritise effectively.
13. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.
14. Highly organised, detail‑driven, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
15. Experience in procurement systems such as Oracle, Coupa, SAP or Ariba.
16. Strong analytical skills with proficiency across Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
17. Team‑oriented mindset with a passion for contributing to a growing, transforming function.

Preferred Qualifications

18. Degree educated
19. Minimum 5 year's Procurement experience
20. Understanding of Financial Services risk, governance and compliance
21. Experience working closely with Legal, HR, Advisory, Consulting or other Corporate categories
