Senior Quantity Surveyor - Drylining / SFS
Oldham / Manchester (Hybrid) - £55,000 - £65,000 + £5,000 car allowance + package
A well-established specialist subcontractor within the drylining and SFS sector is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join its commercial team.
This role will take responsibility for the commercial management of multiple live projects, acting as commercial lead on larger drylining packages and supporting both pre-construction and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial management of drylining and SFS packages
Manage multiple live projects from procurement to final account
Line management of QS and Assistant QS staff
Monthly valuations, cost reporting and CVRs
Management of variations, claims and final accounts
Labour-only subcontractor payment oversight
Subcontractor procurement and cost control
Identify and manage commercial risk and opportunity
Client liaison and contractual correspondence
About You
Minimum 5 years' QS experience within construction
Background with a specialist subcontractor
Experience in drylining and/or SFS
Strong commercial and contractual knowledge
Excellent Excel and reporting skills
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
CSCS card required
Desirable: RICS, SMSTS/SSSTS, leadership training
