Job Description
Lathams Limited is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Fareham, Hampshire, United Kingdom. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders, and managing and organizing inventory. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment and ensuring that all health and safety policies and procedures are followed.
Will be working in a 6 man team
On Permanent Afternoon shift 1.30pm-10.30pm
Mon-Fri excluding bank holidays and Christmas shutdown
Responsibilities
* Receive and process incoming stock and materials
* Pick and fill orders from stock
* Manage, organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse
* Package and ship orders to customers
* Inspect products for defects and damages
* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment
* Follow health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications
* Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution centre
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good time management and organizational skills
* Attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
* Forklift certification is a plus
