ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Our client is seeking to appoint 2 enthusiastic and driven Early Career Teachers of Maths to join their dynamic and supportive team at a mixed all-through academy located in Ilford. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or early-career teacher who is passionate about mathematics and ready to make a difference in a vibrant school community.
The successful candidate will have both an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and A-Level Mathematics, demonstrating a strong foundation and deep subject knowledge to inspire students and support their academic success.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Early Career Teacher of Maths, your key responsibilities will include:
Teaching mathematics across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if appropriate)
Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
Supporting student progress and tailoring teaching to individual needs
Participating in departmental planning and assessment
Creating a positive, inclusive, and effective learning environment
Engaging with mentor support and CPD opportunities
Contributing to the pastoral care and broader life of the school

The ideal candidate will:
Hold or be on track to achieve QTS by September 2025
Have a degree in Mathematics and A-Level Mathematics
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching

Be reflective, proactive, and keen to contribute to the wider school community
Be organised, resilient, and enthusiastic about student success
