Location: CV35 7QB, Warwick, Warwickshire, West Midlands, UKWe are seeking an experienced System Integration Engineer with a strong background working within a UK police force or policing environment to support a major records management system (RMS) migration programme. The role will focus on integrating legacy and surrounding policing systems with NicheRMS (or a comparable police RMS platform).Role OverviewYou will play a key role in the design, build, and delivery of complex system integrations, ensuring reliable data flows, interoperability, and compliance with policing and information governance standards. Working closely with technical architects, data migration engineers, suppliers, and policing stakeholders, you will help enable a smooth transition from legacy systems to NicheRMS.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and support system integrations between NicheRMS and legacy or adjacent policing systems.Develop and maintain integration interfaces, APIs, and data exchange mechanisms.Support data flows, message transformation, and reconciliation across integrated systems.Collaborate with data migration, DBA, and architecture teams to ensure end-to-end solution delivery.Troubleshoot integration issues and support defect resolution across test and live environments.Ensure integrations meet security, performance, and resilience requirements.Produce and maintain integration documentation, interface specifications, and test evidence.Support integration testing, cutover activities, and post-implementation support.Essential ExperienceProven experience as a System Integration Engineer on complex system or platform migrations.Experience working within a UK police force or policing environment.Hands-on experience integrating NicheRMS or a similar police Records Management System (RMS).Strong background in system integration, including APIs, middleware, and data exchange.Experience integrating legacy systems within highly governed environments.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams.Desirable ExperienceDirect experience working on NicheRMS integration programmes.Knowledge of police data standards, information management, and governance frameworks.Experience on large public-sector, criminal justice, or blue-light transformation programmes.This role will fall outside of IR35TPBN1_UKTJ
