We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual to join our Land Management team in Cambridge. We are seeking an individual who demonstrates the attributes that are fundamental to becoming a successful Surveyor.
The Graduate Programme supports you to become a Rural Chartered Surveyor with the RICS and a Fellow of the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers. The programme generally takes around two years to complete.
You will be assigned a Buddy, Supervisor, and Counsellor upon joining.
Training and Development
* Full APC training with the RICS and ongoing support for all graduates
* Full training with the Central Association of Agricultural Valuers
* Pre-APC mock interviews, presentation training, and seminars
* Continuous Professional Development (CPD) lectures
Responsibilities
* Work on day-to-day tasks as directed by your line manager and APC supervisor
* Take responsibility for work and projects appropriate to your current team/department
* Regularly liaise with your APC supervisor and counsellor to discuss progress towards the APC
* Prioritize and manage your workload effectively
* Maintain relevant understanding of the business/department context
* Ensure accuracy and quality in reporting to clients
* Communicate in a personable and professional style
* Respond to client needs and seek ways to improve service delivery and relationships
* Build proactive relationships with internal and external contacts

Person Specification
* Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Focused and determined to achieve objectives
* Motivated to pursue a career in Surveying
* Good problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualifications
* Willingness to work towards RICS accreditation
* Open to non-cognate and apprenticeship routes, including distance learning support
* Relevant work experience in rural surveying
