Junior/Assistant Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist
Locations: Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh or Belfast
An established UK‑leading geotechnical and multidisciplinary consultancy is growing its team to support a strong and expanding pipeline of major UK and international projects.
You’ll work on technically challenging schemes across infrastructure (rail, highways, defence and water) and the energy sector, including carbon capture & storage, renewables, low‑carbon engineering and nuclear power. The Role
1. Deliver geotechnical input on high‑profile, multidisciplinary projects
2. Contribute to investigation, analysis, design and reporting
3. Work closely with engineers, clients and other disciplines
4. Start to take ownership of tasks and grow towards technical excellence

About You
9. Degree in Civil Engineering or Geology/Geoscience
10. Some understanding of ground investigations, foundations, earthworks and geotechnical design
11. Experience using software such as GeoStudio, WALLAP, Repute or similar
