They’re now looking for a Desktop Support Engineer to join their friendly, close-knit IT team. This is an exciting role for someone who enjoys being hands-on with IT, solving problems, and getting involved in projects as well as day-to-day support. You’ll be given the chance to work independently, while still being part of a team that values collaboration and continuous improvement. What You’ll Be Doing Providing IT support across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers Troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues (Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Group Policy) Supporting networking (LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi-Fi) Assisting with upgrades, migrations, and IT projects Managing tickets and service requests efficiently Supporting non-technical colleagues in a friendly, clear way Travelling to other UK sites when needed What We’re Looking For Experience in a Desktop/IT Support role within a business environment Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and Group Policy Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VPNs, Wi-Fi) A proactive, customer-focused problem solver Excellent communication skills and the ability to support all user levels Full UK driving licence and your own vehicle (essential) Desirable extras: ITIL knowledge or service management experience Cloud/remote support exposure Certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, Cisco) What You’ll Get in Return Salary up to £40,000 DOE Generous holiday allowance Annual bonus scheme worth up to 16% of your salary Strong pension contribution Ongoing training and career development opportunities A supportive environment with a close-knit IT team Access to employee perks, wellbeing support, and discounts
