Key Stage 4 Teacher – Functional Skills
Location: Chorley, Lancashire
Salary: £31,650 – £43,606 per annum (dependent on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

This role offers the opportunity to work with small class groups, allowing for more focused, tailored teaching that supports the individual needs of each student.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality Functional Skills lessons to Key Stage 4 pupils.
* Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to meet the needs of a diverse range of learners.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
* Work closely with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support student progress.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to the wider pastoral care of the students.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* PGCE qualification.
* Experience teaching Key Stage 4.
* Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to safeguarding.
* Ability to engage, motivate, and inspire pupils with additional learning needs.
