Position: Part-time (17 hours over 2 days)
Role Overview: The Administration Officer will support the development of an effective Palliative Care service, providing direct administrative support to the nursing team on the Palliative Care Unit. Responsibilities include maintaining the Patient Administration System, recording patient outcomes, supporting MDT and Outpatient Coordinators, and managing patient and staff interactions professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accuracy and timeliness of data recording, ensuring confidentiality and security.
2. Assist with patient flow and support nursing staff as needed.
3. Manage inquiries from patients, relatives, carers, and staff in a professional manner.
4. Report any safety or concern issues to the Sister/Nurse in Charge.
5. Demonstrate the Trust's values and behaviors consistently.
