TeacherActive are proud to be working with a Nursery School in South Birmingham, who are looking for a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their supportive and friendly team.

The Role:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting both the teaching staff and the children’s day-to-day development. Your duties will include:
Supporting children’s learning and play through engaging activities
Helping to maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment
Assisting with meal and snack times, ensuring good hygiene routines
Providing personal care when required
Contributing to planning and delivering Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) activities
Communicating effectively with staff, parents, and carers
The Ideal Candidate:
We’re looking for someone who is:
Qualified in Early Years (Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years Education or equivalent)
Experienced – with at least 6 months of experience working with children in the UK
Caring and proactive, with a genuine passion for Early Years education
Comfortable assisting with personal care and supporting daily routines
Paediatric First Aid trained (preferred but not essential – training can be provided)
DBS checked (on the Update Service) or willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS
Able to provide two recent childcare-related references
Available to work 8:00am – 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, term time only
