The Role
We are seeking an experienced Spa Receptionist to join our team at Soho Farmhouse (OX7 4JS). As the Spa Receptionist you will be a dynamic individual who possesses a real passion and pride in their work, is flexible and provides excellent customer service. Spa Receptionists are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Cowshed retail area and other items. You are also accountable for providing full service to all guests staying at Soho House who are utilising the spa and gym area. A successful Spa Receptionist proactively inspects and cleans equipment and the floors (when applicable), replaces products, keeps inventory as well as provides a fun, approachable and tranquil atmosphere in the Spa area.
Main duties
* Always handover / liaise with the Cowshed Management team on training and employee feedback
* Lead by example to help in any case of emergency cover through support and coordination
* Be inspirational; demonstrating confidence and always looking to share best practice and develop your own skills
* Overseeing the front of house team with minimal supervision
* Encouraging excellent member relationships and ensuring outstanding customer service
* Ensure reports are set up correctly and budgets are communicated
* Work through daily checklist and delegate tasks to reception team
* Update management and team on sales achievements
* Communicate with wider site team as required
* Attend and host briefings when management are not available
* Support management to ensure mystery shopper standards are adhered to
* Assist management with stock control
What we are looking for in a Spa Receptionist
* 1-2 years’ experience in a busy commercial reception desk
* Team player who communicates well with all colleagues
* Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
* Sense of urgency
* Yes, yes, yes mentality
* Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
* Have a genuine passion for food and beverage
* Flexible and available to work both opening and closing shifts when required
Working hours
* Varying shift times across the seven days, to include working evenings, weekends, opens & closes
* Average hours 40 hours per week, over 4 days
