John will be supported, an individual with complex needs who is moving into a specially adapted home. He enjoys music (especially classical), Disney films, colouring, and outdoor activities such as trampolining and swings. He also enjoys story time and trips to cafés and going on drives. His dad is a big part of his life, so family involvement is key.
Note: the real name has been changed to protect the individual's identity.
You'll be supporting individuals who have:
* Learning disabilities, including using communication tools like Makaton or PECs
* Autism and/or visual impairments
* Behaviour that is highly challenged and applying Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies
If you're compassionate, resilient, and ready to learn, this is your moment. It's hands-on, it's heart-led, and yes — it's brilliant.
