Alexander James Recruiting are currently working with a national dealer of a leading forklift product that are looking to bring on a new Field Service Engineer to cover Southampton and the surrounding areas. Responsibilities Servicing a client base across Southampton and the surrounding areas with a focus on servicing forklift trucks Fixing and servicing other, related material handling & specialist equipment to include side-loaders and industrial cleaning equipment Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way when visiting customer sites Attending the workshop from time to time and occasionally working on callRequirements The company have a preference for an individual with experience within the Material Handling industry, however this isn’t essential. They would also be interested in speaking with candidates with a background in plant hire, powered access, commercial vehicles or other industries with a strong hydraulics/mechanical or diagnostics focus. Another option the company would consider would be a recently qualified engineer looking to get into something long term and building a career. In terms of location, you will ideally be based in Southampton.
