Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire- £34,000-£38,000

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Resource and allocate loads daily, achieving best possible margins
* Schedule deliveries in line with customer expectations
* Proactively source additional work via transport trading platforms
* Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
* Maintain regular communication with subcontract hauliers
* Monitor delivery performance and manage any delays
* Work to operational KPIs and business targets
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Transport Broker / Transport Trader
* Strong background negotiating transport rates with subcontractors
* Good knowledge of UK transport legislation (drivers' hours, WTD, vehicles)
* Detailed understanding of the UK general haulage market
* Strong UK geographical knowledge
