The project:We are looking to employ a full-time Senior Social Value Manager to work within our consultancy division in the South-East (Some travel covering Plymouth, Poole). The successful candidate will be responsible for delivery of social value strategy, consultancy across largescale infrastructure projects for a government client across the region. Travel across the South-East will be required as part of the role. They will be a member of Mace’s wider Social Value team feeding into the delivery of Mace’s own social value KPIs.
You’ll be responsible for:
1. Managing project social value strategies, assure outcomes.
2. Delivering strategic initiatives and industry forums.
3. Establishing communities, tools, guidance and training.
4. Advising on place‑based local needs assessments.
5. Providing client consultancy with technical authorities.
6. Managing supply chains and value KPIs.
7. Coordinating reporting, insights and business cases.
8. Supporting bids, teams and Mace impact strategy.
You’ll need to have:
9. Degree in social sciences or related discipline; ICRS fellowship or working towards.
10. Proven social value delivery within healthcare, projects, stakeholders, employment and skills.
11. Strong knowledge of ESG, UN SDGs, social value frameworks, measurement, reporting and KPIs.
12. Excellent project management, communication, influencing, problem‑solving and digital capability.
