Role Overview
This is a lab-based role (80–90% of time) supporting the delivery of key experimental programmes. You'll perform a variety of core laboratory techniques, working closely with scientists to generate high-quality data. The role is ideal for a technically strong, adaptable individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Perform general laboratory techniques, including:
* Cell culture (primary and/or immortalised cell lines)
* ELISA assays and immunoassay support
* PCR and other molecular biology techniques
* Assist in handling preclinical samples, including mice and blood samples (training will be provided as required).
* Prepare, organise and maintain laboratory equipment, consumables, and documentation.
* Accurately record and analyse experimental data in line with company procedures.
* Support cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
* Follow all relevant health, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
Key Requirements
* Scientific background in biology, biotechnology, or related discipline (BSc or equivalent).
* Hands-on technical ability across a broad range of laboratory techniques.
* Experience with cell culture, ELISA, PCR — clinical sample handling is an advantage.
* Comfortable working with animal models and blood samples (previous experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided).
* Highly organised, with good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.
* A team player with strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
* Early-career candidates or recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
