A client within the Public Sector based in Warwickshire is currently recruiting for a Housing Development Manager to join their Transformation Change Unit as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority within a property and housing development environment. The Role Key purpose of the role is to take responsibility for the delivery of a programme of major construction and property-related projects in accordance with the Council’s Asset Management Strategy. Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: • Delivering projects across housing, public buildings and commercial schemes to required quality, delivery timescales and agreed costs. • Managing multidisciplinary teams, including internal staff and external consultants. • Overseeing procurement, contract management and contractor performance. • Preparing project feasibilities, briefs, risk registers and option appraisals. • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation and CDM regulations.
