BCL Legal is currently working with one of Belfast's leading commercial law firms to recruit an ambitious Banking & Finance Solicitor for their growing finance team. This opportunity offers exposure to some of the most sophisticated and high-value transactions in the local and international market, the kind of work that shapes commercial landscapes and accelerates careers.
This team is recognised as a market leader in Northern Ireland, consistently ranked at the top of the legal directories for its excellence in banking and finance. The firm's finance practice is one of the largest and most respected on the island of Ireland, acting for a wide range of clients from domestic and international banks to alternative lenders, private equity sponsors, institutional investors, developers, and major corporates.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on an exceptionally diverse caseload, including:
* Corporate lending (including sustainability-linked and ESG-driven facilities)
* Leveraged and acquisition finance
* Real estate and development finance
* Project and energy transition finance
* Direct lending and syndicated facilities
* Loan portfolio sales and structured finance

Who we're looking for
* Qualified Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE preferred, though strong candidates outside this range will be considered)
* Experience in banking or finance law (either in private practice or in-house)
* Strong commercial acumen and attention to detail
* A proactive approach, with the drive to learn and progress within a high-performing team
