About The Role
EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market-leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial, and BAM Nuttall. All four partners have specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing, and maintenance of railway networks, including the construction of one of Europe’s latest high-speed rail projects.
We are seeking to recruit a Site Engineer to join our Engineering team based in Calvert.
The Site Engineer is responsible on site for supervising junior engineers and assisting in construction operations.
You will liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant, and materials to carry out work activities to the required standards, programme, and budget.
You will be responsible for working with the setting-out team, overseeing the performance and development of junior engineers, and identifying and resolving technical problems on site in liaison with the senior team and Sub-Agent. Monitoring and coordinating subcontractors to ensure their works are completed to contractual requirements.
Ensuring that the team has all current information and resources, you will assist with producing programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.

About You
* HNC/Degree in Construction/Civil Engineering or equivalent, working towards ICE membership.
* Knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities and construction supervision skills.
* Experience in utilities, earthworks, heavy structures, or drainage is essential.
* Own transport and full driving license required for remote site access.
* Competencies: SMSTS or SSSTS; CSCS White, White-Yellow, Red (Experienced), Black (Manager), or Gold (Supervisor).
