This role is a limited term appointment for 12 months.

This role is term time, which means that the gross annual salary advertised will be reduced proportionately based on the number of weeks worked during the academic year. Term time employees are contracted to work 38 weeks per year.

Please note that the full time equivalent for this position is 37 hours, so roles advertised with contracted hours less than 37 will be classed as part time. The gross annual salary advertised will be reduced based on the part time hours.

As an Education Support Officer at Manor Park Primary School, you will help children access learning at the right level, encourage positive interactions and contribute to an environment where every pupil feels supported, valued and understood.

Daily work includes promoting inclusion and independence, assisting with Individual Education Plans and risk assessments, and providing ongoing feedback to teachers, parents and outside agencies. There is also scope to deliver interventions tailored to the pupils you support, building strong, trusting relationships that help each child make progress.

Things to note

An enhanced with barring police check is required for this post, the cost of which will be covered by the Isle of Man Government.
