Job Title: Commercial Support
Band: 2 Salary: £29,795 - £33,073 Location: Liverpool/Birmingham/Norwich/Newport.
Job Summary
Commercial Support is a diverse role within our Category Teams, responsible for the day‑to‑day tasks that support the delivery of Commercial Agreements and customer/supplier relationship management. Successful candidates will undertake both routine and complex administration, own projects and contribute to spend growth through Commercial Agreements.
Key Accountabilities
* Support owners of Commercial Agreements through preparation and subsequent management activities.
* Launch new agreements, develop promotional material, update system information and organise events to ensure supplier compliance with terms.
* Ensure management information is provided by suppliers in a timely manner.
* Manage supplier compliance and assurance, including necessary certifications such as cyber security.
* Support customers by resolving issues, answering queries and promoting Commercial Agreements.
* Monitor finance of suppliers throughout the life of any agreement.
* Collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve targets.
Essential Criteria
* Strong administration skills.
* Experience collating, managing, analysing and presenting information/data with proficiency in Microsoft and/or Google platforms (Excel, Word, Sheets).
* Ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
* Capability to work at pace, proactively and collaboratively with key stakeholders.
* Interest in and understanding of public sector procurement and Category Management practices.
